DIY: Fur neck warmer / my grandmother's vintage dress

Hello friends, today I would like to show you a fur tube or neck warmer (remember they were very popular in the 80's), I sewed it from mink fur. This neck warmer goes perfectly with this dress - it is my grandmothers vintage dress, she has great taste!
I have ordered a mink scarf, at least it looks like scarf from www.etsy.com  it is 51 inches long, there was additional smaller piece with it, which played an important role in my project.

For this DIY, I needed:
A fur piece - length 51 inch, width 6.5 inch
Additional pieces, it can be one solid piece, or few smaller ones
Blade,thread and needle
Lining fabric.
I cut the fur piece with the blade (do not use scissors to work with fur) into two equal parts. Then put them together right sides considering the direction of fur and sewed them together along one side on the inside .

The next step was for the lining, I used an old scarf of a beige color, with very soft texture. The length and width was enough to cut the lining of the same size as my fur piece, I cut about 33-66 cm, a little bit bigger making an allowance for seams .I sewed the lining and then sewed together the two ends of the upper half of the tube at the back (remember it is made of 2 equal parts).

Then I cut 3 triangles from extra fur piece and sewed them together to get 3 piece segment that would go in between two ends of the lower part of my tube , the reason I did it- so it easily goes  through the head.
Then I cut slightly bigger piece for  lining fabric for the 3- piece segment part.
