Fashion for fall:DIY "Owl sweater" inspired by Burberry

Hello my friends, this DIY was inspired by latest collection from Burberry Prorsum, it is beautiful and sweet! All sweaters and tops are decorated with owls, dogs and foxes embroidery.

For this DIY I needed:

Actual image of my applique:

1 piece of felt in beige color, for owl's body ,it is a standard cut at all arts and crafts stores, about

2 pieces of burgundy colored felt

One piece in green color

 And 1 piece in turquoise color

Also  beads of different colors and shapes:

And small beads in heart or diamond shape, in golden/brown color for eye brows part and wings. For each wing I used about 38 for each wing, then about 8 for owl's head from both sides (so it is in total 16), and about 18 for eye brows area:

Print out the image, cut out all paper parts, then put each paper template to corresponding color felt, trace it around with pencil and cut out each felt piece, as it shown on the image below.Sew each felt part to the sweater the way it shown on the image above.
Before sewing beads, it is better to put them onto applique to see how to position each one, and even put some small marks with pencil of where each bead will be sewed, it will be easier, and the applique will look better. After this , beads can be sewed.
