Red velvet / DIY: bow belt from men's tie
Hello my dear readers, hope you are all well. Monday and December arrived, can not believe we are coming to the finish line of 2012.
Today's DIY is really simple - a bow belt made from two men's ties, the most interesting about this DIY - THERE IS NO CUT OF A FABRIC.
For this DIY you will need:
2 ties
the same color thread
needle
First:
Make two folds from the wide end of each tie , like this:
Pin it, and then sew:
Measure your waist, and make mark on each tie, once it marked the ends of each tie will go around, under the face side of the belt. One end of a tie you have to turn around the bow - this will be a knot. The other end of the second tie will go also behind the face side and will be passed through the knot, like this:
Just hold the knot (don't sew it now), once you pass the opposite end of the second tie through the knot, then everything can be sewed.
Sew the snap, and the belt is ready:
